FAQ

General

Can I rent a harp?

Yes! We offer flexible, month-to-month harp rentals with no upfront deposit required. For rentals of three months or longer, harp insurance is required to help protect the instrument while it’s in your care.

Do you offer a rent-to-own program?

Yes! We offer a rent-to-own program for clients who have rented with us for one year or longer. After 12 months of rental, you may apply up to six months of rental payments toward the purchase of an instrument of equal or greater value.

Do you offer harp lessons?

Yes! We welcome students of all levels and are working to build a range of lesson options to suit different musical goals, learning styles, and budgets. You can find more information about harp lessons here.

How do I transition from lever to pedal harp?

Transitioning from lever to pedal harp is very achievable when you have the right support and tools. We offer trade-in options to help you upgrade your instrument, along with experienced, supportive teachers who will guide you through learning the pedal harp with confidence. You’re also welcome to try pedal harps in-store in one of our private practice rooms, so you can explore what feels right before committing.

Can you help sell my harp?

Absolutely! We offer professional harp consignment services, including an evaluation of your instrument. In some cases, we may recommend minor repairs or adjustments to ensure your harp is presented at its best. Once consigned, your harp will receive guaranteed exposure in our showroom and website, along with promotion across our social media channels and harp network to help it find the right new home. Many harpists and students who visit our harp center are actively searching for used harps. Yours may just be the perfect fit!

Harp Financing & Trade-Ins

Do you offer financing for harps?

Yes. Harp Center Los Angeles works with United Midwest Savings Bank as well as select private lenders to offer financing options for harp purchases.

What types of harps can be financed?

Financing may be available for new and select used harps. Eligibility can vary based on the instrument and lender.

Do you accept trade-ins?

Yes. Certain harps may be eligible for trade-in consideration. Trade-in value depends on factors such as brand, model, age, condition, and current market demand.

Why Trade In with Harp Center Los Angeles?

Trading in your harp with Harp Center Los Angeles offers a straightforward and thoughtful path toward your next instrument. Our team specializes exclusively in harps, allowing us to evaluate each instrument with an understanding of craftsmanship, condition, and current market demand. Trade-ins can help reduce the cost of a new or higher-value used harp and may be combined with financing when appropriate. We prioritize transparency, careful handling, and a process designed to support harpists at every stage—making your transition to the next instrument as smooth and informed as possible.

Can a trade-in be combined with financing?

In many cases, yes. A trade-in may be applied toward the purchase price of a new or used harp and can help lower the amount financed, subject to lender requirements.

How does the process work?

We start by understanding the harp you’re considering, your existing instrument (if applicable), and your budget. From there, we can outline potential financing and trade-in options and guide you through the next steps.

How do I get started?

Contact us to discuss your goals. We’re here to help you explore available options and determine the best path forward.

Financing and trade-in options are subject to eligibility, credit approval, lender terms, and instrument condition. Not all harps qualify for trade-in or financing. Trade-in values, rates, and terms may vary and are subject to change without notice.
